I tried to put the passenger seat back in and now one of the two bolts at the back of the sliding rails doesn\'t want to go back in. Of course that was the one that didn\'t want to come out in the first place (it\'s the one closer to the door) so it now looks like a visit to a workshop may be necessary as the thread appears to be damaged.

On top of the battery, this is exactly what I don\'t need seeing that I want to take the car to France on the Bank Holiday weekend and now need to get all that fixed before then.

Arrrrggggghhhh.

Aren\'t they just. And the seat absolutely has to be secured, otherwise I\'ll have to take another car to France and the old Honda Accord Aerodeck needs a service before I could take it...

Yeh but thats in Grinder time ;)

Theres a Technique to getting them out, Remove the back two bolts first then slide the seat right back and undo the ft two, try not to move the sliders after you have unbolted them, you can do it the other way (undo the ft\'s first then the backs) but you end up with the sliders stuck out and its easyer to knock them out of place.

The part i found was a pain in the rear is the 10 years of crap on the threads under the car so they are realy tight to remove, a tip is to crawl under the car and clean the threads that are poking through the nuts with a wire brush then put some wd40 on them.
