I remember someone on here having Lambo doors, was just wanting info on how much of the inner lip of the wing needs cutting and also any close up pics of the kit fitted

Thinking about buying a kit (well getting it as a bday present  :p ), what is the best kit to use?

Havent got any close up piccy\'s of when I had mine done...The lip on the inner arch just needs to be folded back from the top of the top door hinge to the bottom of the bottom hinge, maybe abit less(but just to be safe).

Avoid ebay kits and the like, as pretty S**TE, dont really support door weight that well and take EFFORT to lift...But a good kit can look really good, although BIG bucks.

HTH a little,

Rich

PS. took mine off after a couple of weeks, as it just wasnt worth it! Good luck though!

No worries mate :)

As I said above the kit I had(ebay) just wasnt up to the job, doors flapped about all over the show, took both your arms to lift door into the lambo(and no I\'m not a pueny lil\' weakling :Giggle ). Had problems with the doors catching on the front wings when opening normally and vertically(due to hinges being in a different place and not giving the desired clearance), chipped paint work and the like :spank .

God, sound like I\'m trying to put you off, I\'m not honest, just saying be careful...If I could afford one of the expensive kits, that would prob fit better and have a much smoother action then I\'d go for it(if I wasnt selling my FD!)

Don\'t forget all the wires going to the door for mirrors, speakers, etc all need extending....
