roof womt close!

Help!

My cab roof wont close, its stuck in the fully open position. Does anyone know how to close the roof manually?

have you tried raising the car instead of lowering the roof?

thats not all that helpful considering the UK weather and the fact my car will be left insecure all night.

i know its in the user manual somewhere but i dont have one to hand :(

in the rear turrets ( where the motors are )

there SHOULD be something to turn ( screw , knob ) etc..

this lets you do it manually :D

finally found the 2 screws by the stepper motors, tighten the screws up and it unlocks the steppers. from there you just pull the roof up manually.  at least the rain and tea leaves wont get in now.

not sure, opening and closing by hand at the moment, its a LOT quicker than the electric system.

its probably a microswitch sensing the position of the roof as the roof opens by motor, but doesnt close... not beeping or moving.  Will investigate it a bit more when I get the time.
