hi Last nigth i fitted my new 044 bosch fuel pump

I pushed the hose over the top of the fuel pump all the way on BUT i am now wondering whether it wasnt supposed to go on all the way???

basically when looking at the pump it has two small holes on the fuel line end that look like they should be covered.  but i have pushed the pipe over them.

Does anyone understand this?

if so which way is correct?

thanks

did you leave the stock fitting on it with the thread on it?.  you can get a fitting which just screws straight on and is a proper barbed fitting for attaching a rubber hose.  I think the stock fitting has somekind of one way valve in it.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
