HELP!! BLACK or GOLD wheels with polished lip for my red FD

as the title says has anyone got pics of red fd\'s with black or gold wheels preferably with a polished lip. Need help deciding and would be good to see some photos to compare.

The gold ones are on my car, Mazdaspeed ones.  The black ones are CE28N without a polished lip though.

Thanks for your help guys. Gonna go for black with polished lip. Car is getting tints, got a carbon fibre GT wing indoors to go on too, so black and red will be the theme!!

Sounds like it will looks the nuts mate.  You know what would really finish it off though? (and match great with the spoiler?)  My Carbon Fibre bonnet    That has a cool black paint design on the front as well  :cool

dre....no offence to anyone else but i think the black with polished rim is a bit "pimp my ride ...ish".....bit of a fad from the mtv videos and cribs....will no doubt die!!!!....gold looks better.....don\'t make a mistake bruv!!!...seen to many novas and clios with black with polished rims...........remember three spokes!....

That red car with black rims looks so cool, but thats because of the rims on it !!

VOLK CE28N are my favourite wheel of all time....absolutely sex.

Gold rims are just plain wrong.

Now bronze rims would look nice !!

I agree they are popular at the moment (black with poilshed lip) but thats because they look so good.  I dont think they will go the same way as 3 spokes as they were just wacky looking ie appealed for a while as they were different then people realised they didnt really look that good.

I think the whole polished lip thing is popular with the Jap car scene, not so much clios and nova\'s etc - they are still more interested in getting as big a wheels as possible.  Ive definitely seen more of the black and polish wheels on Jap cars though.  (and with the amount of boyracers / chavs I see near me with the MK Cruise on my doorstep believe me i\'m qualified to comment!! :p )
