Heres the idea, lets assume i had a pair of black leather rx8 seats, and lets assume i wanted to put harnesses through them. Could i get somebody who specialises in upholstery to put two "holes" in each seat below the rotor and place these rings in so that i could run harnesses through:

like these holes, you can buy the plastic bits surrounding the holes separately from sparco i have seen before, any color:

Do the holes have additional support around them or is it literally a hole with some secured plastic to protect the material??

Just a thought :D

The integrity of the seat may concern me, but im sure you could get it done in theory.

hmmm they seem to think on the US forums they will fit. Any idea what the max width seat is that can be fitted to an fd?

I toyed with this 6-8 months ago and ds engineering and others seemed they were to wide, will measure my brothers rx8 and have a look. RX7 struggles to get most seats in, even my carbon seats were a real pain and had to have new brakets made.
