god my fc project is clocking up some serious hours now!!
Ive been finishing my inlet ports on my side housings  and matched them with my new stainless flange and its taken me over 5 hours and its still not finished!!!!!
and to top it all of, ive burnt my little plasma cutter out cutting the port holes out in my stainless flange plate :(

Im surprised how big you can go on the secondary intakes, 1/4 bigger than the original size in length and also wider with plenty of meat still around the outsides of the port.

I got in at 8.00 pm tonight covered in cast iron dust.
dedications what you need if you wanna be a record breaker!!! :Giggle

only got to build the motor up and fit it , make turbo manifold up with ext waste gate, pipe ic up, fit fuel lines and swirl pot, etc etc etc.

****e its only 6 weeks to rotorpop now

Sounds like all your hard work will be worth it!

Very interested to see this FC up and running...U\'ve got some interesting ideas and a very different approach, which is very refreshing!! Good luck with it all...

So will it be ready in time for Rotorstock??
The FC is dead, long live the FD

Im hoping so mate, its a lot of work though, and the motors got to be set up yet on 8 injectors.
Also I spoke to pip the other day about my plenum and runners and he reckons it may work or may not due to the air speed in the runners slowing  right down due to extra volume through the bigger runners.
Im still going with my theory on forcing  huge volumes of air- ie, big turbo, big piping, big runners, big ports, big throttle body, big fuel setup = big power :)
Ive been talking to a guy in aus who runs a t45 on a big plenum and runner set up with full bridge and he reckons he,s made over 500 hp on only 13 psi!!
only time will tell.
