Each week for the last 3 weeks iv had some sort of damage to each of the cars. First it was a key down the passenger side of the 626. The week later it was a massive key all the way down side of the Vectra! Tonight i just went out to the car to get my video cam charger from the GTC and guess what, the passenger side door handle is broken! Looks as though the lock was jammed and the door handle prised, so its now snapped! Ontop of that the 626 has been egged!!!!!!!!! The megane seems ok but its dark so cant see it very well. WTF nobody else cars on the block have been touched at all though! Tommorow im gona set up the video cam so i can see who it is and when i find out nobody will be able to help them...cos im seriously fckd off! I swear down whoever it is is gona get a .22 round in their ass, if any of you would like to stop me please feel free because i doubt i\'l control myself tommorow... :Grrr  :Grrr  :flamed

the problem is for years we have been soft on anti social behaviour..they know they arent going to be punished for anything they do so think they can do anything..every day u read another horror story..the pensioner kicked to death the other day by 3 scummies who didnt give a toss..i say build all the prisons out on dartmoor...no tv/no pool no video and punish the mother****ers and let them rot in hell..then throw the bleedin heart brigage who bleat about their human rights in the cell next to them.the police need to reclaim the streets instead of giving out speedingfines..sorry rant over but it seems those that have seem to have to pay for those that havnt even though we all work like dogs to have nice things...realy rant over now

RobbieRX-7

not good news. How many cars you got outside man??..are you a dealer or something??? we live on a main road by a secondary school and one of the cars are always being fukd with. The fd is under a cover

rx7veilside

no just the fd for fun and a ****box daily driver but i used to have a impreza p1 and they broke into my house at 9am ransacked the place and tried to nick the car..now i borrowed 14 grand to buy that car and had saved and sold my car to get it only to have some scummies want to steal it leaving me with the loan and no car i work hard to have a nice car but worry all the time about damage/theft time the punishment returned to being a deterrant as opposed to a badge of honour to these people

RobbieRX-7

thats why i take my keys to bed and hide them in the drawer under the bed. Even with the keys, they still gotta enter a code to shut the alarm off.

rx7veilside

if only they knew only to try and steal them on dry days due danger of doing the wild thing in the wet that wld limit the days they are under threat :rollin

Rixio have you upset one of your neighbours, sounds like someone has the green eye regards your cars. Years ago when the wife had her Honda Beat, we had several spates of vandalism. First her aerial was snapped off, when I replaced it with an electric one. Seems they came back to do the same again and when they could not get to the aerial they scratched the rear wing.

Also got up one morning to find cornflakes thrown all over the Beat, these had got wet and then dryed out, flippin hard as a rock and took ages to get off. And after that they chucked flour all over it, this got into the engine bay via the slots in boot lid (engine in the back of a Beat in case you were not sure). Also murder to clean up.

Turn\'t out it was a neighbour across the road, who was an alchoholic. Apparently he used to stroll around the neighbourhood in the early hours trying to sober up for work. One of the other neighbour\'s spotted him doing the damage and told me what they had seen. When I spoke to him he just gave me alot of verbal abuse, even when we went to the Police they said I would need to catch him doing it for them to even think about speaking to him. They said that the other neighbour who had seen him do the damage, may have it in for him and just be trying to get him into trouble.

Have had no more problems since he moved too Hong Kong, so me thinks maybe it was him after all. Seem\'s a shame someone can get jealous over a Honda Beat of all things. Think the vid-camera is a good idea if you can catch someone in the act even better evidence to take to the Police. Don\'t use violence if you see anyone doing it mate this could land you in more boover than you need. Happy hunting mate ......cheers Leigh.

lol, sorry to hear it bud. As said get the camera up and get watching. Pass the tape on to the police if its always the same people. OK nothing may happen even with concrete proof (half of todays problem) but at least they may move on.

Sometimes stuff like this is blamed on kids but it isn\'t always the case.

Little sh1ts really get up my nose, i have security lights and a camera over my drive, i live in a good area but opposite a field, there has been huge numbers of yobs in the field late at night, chucking bottles, etc, called the police many times, so much so that they fitted cameras on the lamp posts, but it is a worry, most of them are out of thier head by midnight, fueled by booze from Tesco, some nights i wait up for the security light to come on and have a rifle close by, it makes me very uptight, lose sleep, i know it\'s wrong to think of harming the poor littly 16 year olds, but when they threaten to damage your propery,  it makes me think sooner or later, old as i am, i will go for them, whatever the outcome, as a point has to be made!
Sadly
QuoteDCTYPER had his car broken in to, and wrtote.
i proceeded to chase them with my housemates untill they threatened us with knives. we backed off and called the police.
The little sods know that is all they have to do.  and learn they can get away with it by carrying knives. But i feel it would be so nice if they didn\'t get away with it at all, baseball bat springs to mind, plus a camera, they don\'t like cameras!
i have whacked a couple over the years who then threaten to report me to the police, so i tell them make sure you report it as i want your address! so they dont report it, but it does worry me what i will do when i catch someone attacking my car, i do believe it will happen, and that it\'s only a matter of time. Sorry rant over.
Tony martin security services where are you?

Live near a school and once the Tigra got scratched down the side, because i am friendly with all the school kids one of them told me who did it, police came - no action, so i went round to see the kid\'s father and said simply "its £150 for you to pay, or next time i see your kid arms will be broken i kid you not"

Money arrived next day, no further damage.  :Nono!

Violence is definitely not the answer - even if its a language these morons do undertstand  :Hammer

If you can video them doing it, at least you know who your culprit is.  Then you have the choice of going to the bill with the evidence, or addopting a more stealth approach - lay a trap for the little sods (with a few mates) and scare the crap out of them - no violence needed- and if you\'ve done it right they probably won\'t mess with you again.  The danger would be this escalating out of control. :2eek

I had some turd trying to get into my Vert on the driveway when I first got my car - I happened to be cutting some bread at the time, so I had the bread knife in my hand when I ran out of the door !  Bloke saw me and nearly fell over the neighbours wall trying to get away - he never came back  ;)

This is such a problem, and it\'s very hard to find a decent solution to it.
Recently a bunch of kids have taken to hanging out on the corner one house down from my house. The other night i was in the garage with a mate and we could hear them shouting a laughing and basically making a racket outside, but it wasn\'t anything worth getting worked up about. After a while though, I heard a bottle smash somewhere outside, and I was straight out there with a 2ft breaker bar in my hand, ready to get rid of them. The little bastids had smashed a bottle right over the entrance to our drive, If i hadnt seen them do it any one of the four cars on the drive would have driven straight over it before anyone noticed.
I guess they were only half-assed yobs cos the realisation of what they had done meant they were dispersing anyway when I got out there, but I worry what would have happened if i had to threaten them. I\'m not there to watch over my car and my bro\'s skyline all the time, and it only takes one disgruntled little c**k to come back and do some damage.
I guess you need to scare them off enough to make sure they dont try it again, but dont go so far as to possibly land yourself into trouble. thats a hell of a fine line, but something must be done cos the police sure can\'t do anything about it.

grrr. sometimes the thought of caving one of their heads in with a length of steel bar is pretty appealing.

Rixio sorry to hear about your car bro... definately get the camera up and running as you will have solid evidence of who is doing it.. then just give it to the Police and let them deal with it..

Find out who it is.

Pay someone to have them done over, a knee cap or two should do it.
