help needed re skin rip

Hi All

Does any one know how I can fix a rip in a 99spec nose skin ( not fiber glass )? I do not need to have it re-sprayed as I will use chips away to fix it.

Any one has a second hand skin for sale? I can not source one any where so farâ€¦

You need to find a plastic welder in your area,should be advertised in the \'yellow pages\' or on the net,think they usually call themselves \'plasi welders\'. It makes a bit of a mess but when you rub it down it looks perfect. Cheaper to have it welded than by a new skin.

Many thanks for the advice. I have a look on the net. The driver who has reveised into my car is paying for the damage, but I can not locate the skin anywhere...it may have to be welded.

Happy hunting,if we have plasi welders in Hereford,your bound to have em down your neck of the woods. Let me know the outcome?

So far no luck with plastic welders. Where is the place in Hereford ? Can I have their tel nr ? I know your are miles away from London but it may be an option for me to drive up...
