Bodyshop guys questions lol

Hey guys just a few questions for you, iv been spraying for about 2 months in ma garage, iv got all the saftey gear and a good place to work

But what filler do you guys use to fill and smooth off/mould parts with, the stuff i use says "Easy Sand" but its a bloody nitemare, plus it blocks up the sand paper after only a few secs of use.. Also my spray guns got a filter at the bottom of the paint container (gravity fed) should i be filtering the paint before i put it into the container??
