Nice one John... now you just need to get the engine revving to 10k and it\'ll be serious :)

sounds good john,   so whats changed....  come on spill it........... please
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Wellll :D My old turbo made lots of power, but I could read war and peace waiting for the spool, pretty good for the strip not so good for track / fast street. So, it was a case of getting the ol girl to wake up a bit sooner and get enough air to pass through the compressor, after 2 attempts I think we are just about there. Basicly it now has a different compressor wheel [blade angle] and a smaller exhaust housing, dont think I should be putting out the sizes just yet as this was after some exhaustive testing and I would have to kill you once I had told you  Biggest problem I have now is to get a better flowing backbox I think this is where my restriction is, so it will be down to trying a few out to get A] a good flow and B] be quiet enough so I dont have to wear cans whilst driving it, the power stearing mod seems to add about 10+bhp..........cheap mod that :2Confused
Oh and it red lines @ 9k, worth all effort that went into the build.

Well here is what my all motor bridge can do. This was in USA before I moved to Germany in October.

Series 4 6 port engine
Holley 600
RB 6 port intake
Home made long primary header OPEN HEADER (extractor)
Full Brige Port
Half tank of regular pump gas
9.5:1 rotors

BlitzBoy

good figures for an NA, but I guess the 225BHP is at the flywheel and not at the wheels, can you confirm?

Wrong. That is at the wheels. I\'m proud of that. Next one I am shooting for 290.

20B_boy

Nice numbers. Fair to say Dynojets are more generous than some other dynos tho.

ArmyOfOne

Well actually the numbers come pretty close. The car weighed in @ 2350 lbs and it ran a 13.04 @ 106mph on street tires. With a couple of calculators I came up with similar HP numbers.

20B_boy

2350lbs - whts it in out of interest? thats not much over 1050kg\'s...you have a nice old rotor?

good stuff mate. do you have nay pics of the car with engine bay?
did you do all the work yourself?

Can I be added to the chart :) Pip recently tuned the newly rebuilt engine at WGT,it was a tough decision whether to go single or stick with the twins as I love the response of the twins.Decided to go single with an HKS to4e,not the latest and greatest I know but it\'s a super little blower with good responce and great torque, just what I was after.

Anyway was really pleased with 340bhp@hubs on the new fast road ported engine. That figure was achieved with 0.8bar.

BlitzBoy

anymore to be added?? next update will be next Tuesday
