I wondered this when i got mine from speedways even thou they were marked with stickers left & right, i wondered which direction that was looking from.  they told me L= nearside R= offside

the internal veins should point to the rear iff the car. If in doubt go to the ap racing website this should explain it to you

I;d say from looking at the pics ant & I have posted the grooves should look as if they are pulling  i.e the outer of the grove further forward than the inner. hope that makes sense

Well thats interesting, mine go the opposite direction to Freddys and I would have said mine are positioned correctly compared to his ????

Right = the side of the car you sit on ;)

Here you go, basically the most important thing is cooling so you need the vanes (vented bit in front discs) to go the right way round, usually the slots go the opposite way to the vanes so you don\'t get a load of material removed in one place (ie they make an x shape rather than being parallel).  Not all discs are like this so its safer to go off the vanes than the direction of the slots.

" The vanes of a directional rotor should arch back like arms on a pinwheel. On the top side of the rotor, the vanes should curve toward the back of the car."

Text lifted from the link above, hope this helps,

It all depends on what type of groove they are.

If there are straight lines like freddys they go backwards. (his are correct)

If they are curvedlike black diamond ones its the oppersite to the above.

Hope that helps.
