I was wondering what size pipe you guys with singles use to feed the wastegate and where you take the feed from.   I am still having problems with my boost going up.  I am currently taking the boost feed from one of the little pipes coming out of the FD UIM oposite the Brake Servo.  These are very small though and i think my wastegate seems to bleed off a lot of air via the valve piston shaft which would indicate to me that i need more air going to it to keep it open.........  The diaphram is ok, its the only thing i can think of trying before i torch the bl00dy thing!!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated..... especially if i am going to get to this track day or rotorstock!!!!! :god

Its a HKS FD Cast Manifold with a GT35/40 (T4 flange)
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Intercooler pipe straight after the turbo before the throttle body, yours is after the throttle body.Pipe size is 4mm ID from memory.

Never had problems with boost creep, hope that helps

cheers gary, i am going to weld a short pipe to my intercooler pipe tomorrow and run a bigger hose,  i will probably go for 8 - 10 mm.  I cant see too big being a problem.

Is that 8-10mm outer diameter??

I have used copper brake pipe on some as it doesnt melt with rubber hose at the joins.

8 - 10 mm ID, i have some 10 mm fuel pipe, that should do the trick.
Cheers
