Back from WGT...Very Happy

Woke up this morning with my dash in pieces as i had been spraying it last night, put it all back together. After a good 1 hour or so i merrily head off to WGT to get my car comp tested and dyno\'d...as soon as i arrive i see a white FD and thought to myself "Ey Ey thats Marks car aint it?" Mims goes "Yep sure is" and few seconds later in walks Mark :Giggle

Anyway while mark was getting his gauges fitted Pip was comp testing my car. So Mark, Mims & myself, had a good chat about rotary palava...few mins later in comes Pip and says "Yep comp is fine nothing to worry about, ill call you when we are ready to dyno" off he dissapeared...

So after mucho banter we take off to video&watch the dyno run. I then asked Pip what the comp readings were, he went foraging (sp) for abit then finally hands me a piece of paper...

This was totally unexpected as i had no idea it has had a rebuild or anything! I bought it with 51k Miles on the clock!!!! Well chuffed!
The car made 230rwhp @ 6k rpm & 278lbft, because of a low boost and a very restrictive cat, these sorted and pip said should make a good 280rwhp. Saying that the car is running stock boost, stock ECU & stock everything else apart from HKS filters, HKS BOV and Knightsports Zorst...i think its still pretty decent power!

Also had a peek at Jurgen\'s T88 with its internals stripped out, didnt really see it properly as it was up on the ramp above another Black FD with a pearl white dash & matching alloys. Not sure whos it was didnt recognise it, anybody from here?

Bloody terrible weather on the way home! Really really bad rain, low vis & puddles all the way down the M62! I Didnt really get chance to go full throttle + im in Laandan till Monday so cant test it until i get back:(

No no, its defo had a rebuild and very recently i.e less than 5000 miles, is what i was trying to say, might have come out wrong :3Confused iv had the car for 19 months and only driven it 1.4k miles!

...but yep runs alot smoother now that a boost hose was replaced after it coming loose. Just been out for a quick burn and running much much better, still cant give it full throttle because roads are too wet so its just spinning, but even up to around 4k on half throttle its running sweet :driving

Happy motoring days to come roll on summer so i can get the other one out aswell  :Thumbs-up

i was down there thursday and friday i had an oil leak sorted out and a service i was also very happy with the work they did  :Thumbs-up

Blimey that must have been a drive from beverly. Must admit never been to WGT\'s but hear good things about them. Nice result Rixio, its nice to hear good news and a bit of luck about these cars. And as it has been said already let the fun begin :Tongue1

Yep WGT is pretty decent but you do pay the premium for having Pips expertise (sp) though, i was told about this before going down but thought ok well wont be that bad...but consider yourself warned...

glad you guys turned up - having arrived at 7.30 am by 6pm I would of been pulling my finger nails out.

I almost ended up staying the night as they didnt quite finish (some gauges not working) but decided I could live without and went home, thought Im bound to end up needing to come here again sometime so might as well get it sorted then   :Hammer

Mind you, cant complain - just shy of 350 bhp on the rollers isnt too bad - and at only 0.75 bar of boost!  Just need to get some extra injectors sorted out so I can wind that up   :wiggle
