Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the offset is on a standard FC wheel?? along with the wheel width?

Seems to be loads of info on FD stuff, but very little on FC\'s

Would like to know so I can figure out what offset I need for some wider wheels :King

Cheers rich

thats a good starting point Stu...

If someone, maybe you Stu, could let me know what width rim and offset they are running(so I know it works!)??

That would be great!

i cant think what the FC runs i think its 6JJ wide

you have to be careful on the FC as im not sure what size you can run on the fronts due to the front shocks

now i think that the FD has 7JJ rims - and they are tooo wide to fit on the fronts without spacers .. like i said - im not 100% sure matey

I am running 8.5 fronts, 9.5 rears, i think the offset\'s are around 42 - 45, using a 5 mm spacer on the front but rears are ok.

tr1cky

OK

Seen some wheels I like, but think clearence of the arches is going to be a problem!?

8.5front with ET+30 offset
9.5rear with ET+30 offset

From my understanding the fronts would stick out too far by around 5-7mm and rears by about 10mm, am I right??

8.5 with a +30 will be neigh on perfect for the front.  9.5 with a +34 is just inside the rear arches, and with about 10-15mm clearance to the shock.

So John,

Are these the offsets you run?? Only alot seems to be said and it is very difficult to find a setup which is known to work!

Wanna make sure I get it right 1st time round and not have to use spacers

Cheers Rich

I am running 9.5 +34mm on the back, and have the same for the front, which are not fitting at the moment. I have not tried the 8.5 +30mm, but am confident that it should be good. Have you had a look at //www.fc3spro.com website or asked on //www.rx7club.com

Cool! Thanks mate :WaveBye

Yeah looked at both sites, seems to be alot of conflicting info from different people though. But some good info too.

Pretty confident the fronts will work now though. Got a feeling the rears will require the arches rolling or maybe even pulling out abit...Any ideas??

They will only need a touch, as my tyre sits about 4mm in from the lip.
