Foks does any one carry mountain bikes on their RX7? Just want to know if people do it or this is a stupid question to ask?

RedRummy

Next you\'ll be wanting a tow-bar!!!

Rocket, it is possible. I have a rack from Yakima, made for the 3rd Gen.

The great thing is its fits my 323 as well.

Why do people have a problem with putting roofracks on?????? It was an option on the UK 3rd gen.

And, yes Redrummy, watch this space. I am a sailor, and my 3rd Gen WILL have a towbar on it one day. Maybe I\'m thick, but I cant see the problem.

RedRummy

well, there\'s no problem i s\'pose, it\'s just that they\'re not exactly 4x4 pulling performance...

strikes me as the quickest way to kill a rotary  ;))

Ok, so, what would would you use to pull a small one man boat, say,  100 or 200kg with trailer?

Martiny

FD with trailer ( not mine)

If this were true, I doubt Mazda would have :

1) Put a Rotary in a pickup truck

2) Offered a Towbar as an accesssory on the RX-8.

eh?

RedRummy

yeah, I\'m sure you *can* pull a trailer....

drifting it might be intersting though  ;)
