Anyone strugling with mazda engine part numbers????

If like me you are in the middle of an engine rebuild, and trying to find the best prices and availability for parts in the UK, including trying to talk to a mazda dealer and or rotary expert it seems to be like drawing teeth..  From other countries they are more than willing to help....  So Today i actually went to my local mazda dealer and took a seat by their parts computer until they went through all the engine parts and gave me all the part numbers for 90% of the engine parts. They were not best pleased, Especially when i asked for them to then price them all up individually for me in their own time..   For anyone who is looking for parts i will list all the part numbers i have. I will put prices when they have arrived..  .

Here goes....  these parts were for T11 so i am not sure if they are the same for N/A   Please also excuse if i do not put the exact description/name on the item as I am new to rotary engines..

its great to look thru - it does all the mazda cars - so you can check if they used any parts on other cars - so can can get them cheaper at a motorfactors place

Hi stuart..  I would be interested in a look at that.  Does it also cover My mazda 626 2.2 4wd.  The main reason why I went to mazda was for upto date prices. and then compare to the places i already have prices from.  it does seems a shame they do not supply full kits in this country, somebody could do good business supplying those... I thought??

Im talking to a company at the moment that may help me further the parts range and Im looking at putting rebuild packages together, but they will be genuine mazda so expect more than 3rd party or importing.

Thanks for that..  I think people would be more than happy to pay a little extra for a correct kit from this country. or to order individual parts from parts list with up to date prices.  Untill now i have had little luck with my polite approch.  Mainly with Mazda dealers who do not understand rotaries, so do not want to know or help.   maybe should have given you a call.

Save yourself some aggro. Watch ebay for the Mazda software, called EPC, it\'ll give you all part numbers and a rough idea of prices.

Actually, I dont think those prices are that bad. £229 for 6 Apex seals - consider how much technology is put into making that part.

Housings are pretty much the same price I paid 8 years ago.

Well maybe, but  , I can get 95% of those parts for £521 excluding import tax which is about 20% from other suppliers outside the uk,  even without rotor housings it is the far cheaper option. hence the object of the excercise.

i have been coding access for nearly 10 years now and just got into the ASP side of things to allow you to search them online

how does your online shop work at the mo - does it run from a back end DB ?

drop me a PM if you want - i cant promise anything but i can have a look for you

the only down side is that i can only code ASP for web use - so you need a server that supports it

Well the thing about geting cheaper parts - why dont we have a list of all the parts you need for a full rebuild and then the cheapest price from what supplier, not forgetting that qualities are different?
