Hello :)

Twas me - the car lost a rotar coming down the hill from J4 and is now in need of an engine rebuild.  I guess it was an apex seal or something, there was a bang/pop then it just lost power in 4th gear

A big thanks must go out to RWDFreak from the MRC who stopped and let me sit in his warm and comfy X5 whilst waiting for my girlfriend in the EP3 :)

Cars back home now ready for the engine to be pulled...

i told my girlfirend that "o o look theres an RX7 on the other side with a CTR stopped aside," she says maybe been racing and stopped to have a chat,  :D
so i says more likely the engine has gone!!  :wiggle   she refused to believe me, bah, women!!! what do they know?!?!

unlucky mate, couldnt have been a worse day for it to happen, you were lucky people were willing to stop and help you,

Hi mate,  sorry - I saw a Silver FD in a Car Park yesterday morning at CW.  Thought it may have been Monkey.

Thanks guys can\'t be helped - probably my fault for trying to get away from the audi that was hassling me at the top of the hill :(

I\'d checked everything before I left, oil, water even started the car from hot.  Then all of a sudden in 4th gear it just let go :(  Co-incides with the electrical problems its been having of late - the EDFC keeps switching off as does the stereo...

Never mind time for some porting and billet eccentric shaft i think, gotta make better use of the T04R this time around

Hey Glenn, wasn\'t me at CW I was pootling around Central London on Friday tho.
