Forum and moving server - to help with speed issues

[Glenn Butcher]

Hi all,

There have been a few complaints coming in from people, that they forum is very slow etc.  I haven\'t experienced it myself, and I\'m on it quite a bit.

But we will try moving it to a faster machine - all going well, tomorrow sometime.  So expect that it may be down for a few hours, whilst this is taking place.

I\'ll do my best to keep you informed.

The forums have been crawling for me these past few weeks but all of a sudden today they are speedy again for first time in ages
Not sure whether the switch to new box took place yet or not but if so it has certainly worked (and if not, no need to do it now :p).

Working good for me again too!

Hi all, yes - still trying to get to the bottom of the problem.  We will still be going ahead with a forum upgrade, and possible server move.  Please bear with us.
