cant see a problem for running in, stock ecu is rich and you wont be on boost and at low revs. You will use more fuel with bridge but fuel system surely wont be under pressure until run in. Would use for anything else though change asap.

Is the fuel system uprated???

ive got a walbro  255 pump stock injectors for now, i still dont no which ecu to use yet , i just want to run engine in safely without having to **** about with maps and fueling, im thinking of using stock ic to run in on as well
ive made a 100mm dia ali straight plenum intake pipe with flange  and 70mm ali piping for large front mount, with this lot on i reckon it could be a real laggy pig to drive under 4k with bridgeport and t51r turbo

it would be a big help if i could run the engine in on tickover as i dont really wanna put the car on the road but ive been told you need a varied load on the engine

TBH mate i would\'nt run it with the stock EMS. Your kind of asking for truble.

You can\'t run any bigger injectors then the 550\'s and low end power on a bridge is not realy good on low load (this is evern worse if the primarys are Bridges too) but they do tend to spool the Turbo easy over Extended ports.

I would say do the EMS...

Its not worth risking. The stock EMS will have the wrong Map for that Engine it may run ok on idle but how do you tell how many Miles etc its done if its Not on a Dyno or Driven?

I ran my 1/2 bridge (streetported primaries - bridged secondaries) on the stock ECU for about a year! No problems, idled like a pig!
I had stock turbo, fuel system, turbo, etc
with stock ancillaries I did a dyno run and the power was about stock, although I mas at max boost at 3000rpm! Looking at the dyno chart, I was slightly under fuelling at 2500-3000 then massively over fueling as the boost tailed off. Now running a Microtech with FMIC - still stock turbo for the time being. For run-in I don\'t think you\'ll have a problem. BTW my car is an 89 FC

Loud? Hell yes! :D

im only gonna run tiny amount of boost to run in so i wont need high fueling for under 4 k, im more concerned about timing to be honest on the stock ecu.
