RX8 engine & gearbox

Went for an extended test drive in the RX8 - what a nice car! would not replace the 7 but as a daily driver excelant.
Got to thinking about the possibility of installing the engine and gearbox into the 7 maybe with a few mods:D  only problem I could see [apart from cost!] is the gearing - in the rex 4200 = 100mph in top, in the 8 4500 = 90mph in 6th. Anyone know what the final drive is on the 8 compared to the 7?

The RX 8 Final Drive is 4.44:1 but doesn\'t it spin all the way to 9000rpm though?
