Drivers Door Lock (interior)

The other day when locking the car I heard a snapping sound. Since then I cannot lock the car using the remote central locking or from the inside.

The interior locking switch is "floppy" now, though the remote central locking will unlock the door - just no lock it.

Is this likely to be a cable snapped/come off, or related to possibly the interior door locking button snapping underneath losing some of the tension?

I\'ve not yet investigated/had investigated just wondering...

I dont know, but my exterior door handle doesnt work.  Perhaps between us we could get a car we can get into and out of ok

Its pretty easy to take the door card off, the only thing that caught me out was the screw under the flap by the inside handle.
