my new rex is getting a rebuild at the moment courtsey of RX motors. I ought it broke from wesh dan on the board. he never got it fully mapped but reconed it was good for well over 400BHP at the fly. The turbo seems big enough to handle more but are the supporting mods satisfactory?

Also, on supras and skylines etc this sort of turbo (GT40) would run aout 20PSI or over. Would i be able to run it over 1bar of boost? I ask because it seems that almost everyone of here runs their turbos (whatever setup that may be) at 1 bar or 1.2bar but never any more.

Heres the spec for the car:

13B-REW Twin rotary 1308cc street ported by RX motors
Garrett GT40 Single turbo
Apexi Power FC ECU and commander
Apexi AVC-R boost controller
GReddy Type R Blow off Valve
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Fluidyne Aluminium radiator
HKS Rotary type ignition amplifier
Magnecor leads
GReddy elbow, with additional 680cc injectors in holders (currently not plumbed in)
850cc primaries with a modified fuel rail along with the 850cc secondaries
Bosch 044 fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Large front mount intercooler
Twin oil coolers
Hyper SR cat back exhaust
Dragon De-cat pipe
Underdrive pulleys
Air pump removed
Water injection
ACT 6 puck clutch
Currently mapped to 0.75 bar, although it can be mapped to 1.1 bar safely
GReddy turbo timer
Golden Eagle polished pressure manifold
OBX silicon radiator pipes
GReddy sandwich plate between the oil filter and engine block
Magnecor leads
Derestricted.

Your secondaries would need upgrading to support more then 1 BAR of boost, not to sure how you would control the extra injectors in your elbow, maybe wiring them in series with your current secondaries would work but god knows what values you would need to enter in your Apexi ECU, Brain Ellis on this forum runs his FD daily on 1.4 BAR!

i forgot to add that the extra 2 injectors are controlled my a HKS unit, so they are not controlled via the PFC.

What would i need to get 1680\'s? obviously the injectors but do i need a rail too?

also, can i control the extra injectors with the current bosch 044 pump or should i get a seperate pump for those too? Is fueling the only limiting factor here or are there other parts to think about?

ahh I see, well you therefore have enough fuel to supply 500 at the fly, you have water Injection which will enable you to run more then 1 BAR with pump fuel. Not sure how much boost you will need to run on the GT40 to get you 420 at wheels could be anything from 1 BAR to 1.2 BAR.
You wont need more then that too beat 500bhp-600bhp skylines or Supras due to our cars weighing at least 200 Kilos less then our rivals, so our power to weight ratio is more.

The only thing you require is a good mapping session on the rollers
