i was innocently cruising ausrotary last week when I was informed that my old 1300 coupe was back up for sale. I have been in contact a bit with the seller and am trying like mad to find a stupid amount of money to bring the little beast over to the uk. Dont think the wheely bars would be too good on the islands roads though! I will send some photos to Mikelmr to see if he will put them up, or maybe the link to it. It was a great little car, I even did a few hill climbs in it :evillaugh
 cheers, michael.

p.s. anyone interested in a spare kidney? :spank

e-mail sent to your mazda rotary club address Mike. I think that the dude selling is wanting offers over $13,000 for the car. Hard part is my better half said go for it, but then would I not be better, (if i was serious about something like this) buying something like Carls RX3 coupe with the twin turbo in it? I am sure it was for sale a while back.
cheers and thanks for posting in a bit Mike.
 cheers, mmichael.

Michaels old 1300 ... looks ace  :Thumbs-up

I\'m sure you could build somthing close for £6K in the UK ... i+ it would cost half as much again to import wouldn\'t it ?

Richard

Any joy with the Dutch 1300 Michael ??

Rich ;)

Cheers Mike. Appreciate the effort.

Hey Michael, were you responsible for the fuel tank mod??

If so was it made only big enough to drop into the wheel well, or was some floor actually cut out and a larger "sump" welded on?

I\'m guessing it was done instead of running a swirl pot. Is that correct?

BTW did you get my PM about the Dutch coupe :3Confused

Cheers,
Rich ;)

Heu Richard, no I didnt het the pm about the dutch coupe as I am a bad , bad man who doesnt have full membership yet. Please feel free to send me an e-mail about it. ( float7@hotmail.com).
I didnt modify the fuel tank, it was the previous owner, and it is only about the size of a pint glass. Yes it is to replace a swirl pot. The spare wheel well is only modified to clear the rear muffler.
 Cheers, michaell

mullins

That\'s bad ass!

I know which 1300 you\'re talking about guys :evillaugh

travellinbob

I must admit that the current owner of the car has done stacks of work to it that make it so fast these days. So mullins, what do you know about this coupe?
  cheers, michael.
