I still have my standard front fog\'s, but hardly ever use them, so two choices either take them off, or are they a legal requirement? or replace with a good set of Spotlights instead, as it is they just seem to resrtict air flow to the rad! anyone fitted Spot\'s in there place? if so what are they and are you pleased with them?any pic\'s please,
Cheers Bob

I don\'t think front fogs are required, I haven\'t got any on my FD and no one has ever stoped me or even faild an MOT because of it!!!
Driving lights would be a better option though as everyone knows the lights on the 7\'s are cr@p!!!

MOT requires only 1 rear fog light, you can remove the front if you want.

i doubt if you will gain any advdantages with the airflow situation by getting rid of them imo. Im gonna keep them but i want to change the reflectors from yellow to white so they will match the new philips diamondvision bulbs i put in the headlamps.

Hi Robbie, have you tried the new philips diamondvision bulbs you put in the headlamps yet? iv\'e often wondered about uprating mine, (other than 100 watt bulbs, Are you pleased with them?
cheers Bob

yes bob i am pleased. They make the car look newer, but i have noticed that down country lanes they seem a bit too blue. Not much difference from the old ones tbh. Ive got a feeling that they are not uk road legal because at the time i could not get them off ebay. i bought mine from autolamps.com for about £23. There are a pair on ebay for £20

I have read about some FD headlights being diamond cut, which apparently allows for greater output over the standard ones, but have not seen any on ebay yet,i gather it,s the glass being restrictive on standard,

I\'ve ordered a pair of those.  Will post some pics for you once fitted.   ;)

How do they compare with BLUE VISION or POWER2NIGHT ?

Cheers

i have no idea how they compare to the others but im presuming they are brighter because they are 5000K. http://www.autolamps-online.com/halogen/diamondvisioncentre.htm

Are these the lamp units you have just got?

Yeah, those are the lamps I\'ve ordered.

Always thought that the higher the K value the less visible light you get??
