Hiya People,

I am new to your forum and pick up my lovely black RX after the weekend... can\'t wait :) Can I just say over the past month I have been looking at loads of different types of cars to replace my Porsche Boxster which has now gone to a new home and reading this forum certainly helped my Rx choice, so thanks.

I need just a little help if poss as the car I am getting had its compression test today and it came it at 110 psi. Is that good ? It\'s a 93 car just in from overseas and in stunning condition.. you could eat your dinner off the engine it is so clean !!

Once I get the car I will post some piccy\'s and also I may even look at organising a South Wales event where I live. I actually organise large dance events in Cardiff called ROAR //www.r-o-a-r.co.uk and so a car event would be pretty cool.

In fact to all fellow RX owners if you like your dance music and partys and would like to come to one of my dance events email me promoter@r-o-a-r.co.uk and I will sort out reduced admission and no queing. How\'s that :) We got one this Friday so check the ROAR site and come and have a drink...

Thanks for all the wicked advice on here.

J :)

Oh yeah.. the car is on 51 k miles and has full history too !

You need readings from both rotors and from each face of each rotor. As well as good strong compression you want them all as even as possible.

A decent Rotary comp tester will tell you all this...
