Sorry ZAB, it is christmas and all that, and this IS a friendly forum, thats we have a joke every now and then. I just could not resist Robbie\'s request at a translation.

Robbie has a point, though. The text style of communicating is very confusing to read. We will help you, but could you help us by being a bit clearer about the problem.

I mean, we dont even know what car you have.

If the revs climb without the car increasing speed, it is most lileky you will need to replace the clutch plate. Depending on which car you have, there is little that can be done to adjust it, - on older cars, the pedal had some adjustments, but on newer cars the whole system is self adjusting.

Does the clutch pedal take quite high? Is there some play before the pedal bcomes stiff?

hears abit abt me then guys

i have a fd3s 92 type-r
bn off road for abt a yr got it back abt a month ago.
clutch pedal is quite high cant feel the bitin point at times.
does that mean i need to change the whole clutch or just the plate ? is it a case of sumone lookin at it to c wot the part it is ?
wot kinda off price am i lookin at for a new clutch guys ?
will post sum upto date pic soon once i find my digi camera.

Brett

To do any kind of inspection on the clutch is going to involve a lot of labour or a lot of your time, IMO its better to shop around for a good clutch (OEM or aftermarket depending on your needs) and have a complete unit ready to go straight in when you split the bell housing from the engine :)  You dont want to waste time trying to fit a new plate if it turns out the springs have gone baggy as well :)

(Its a great help to everyone if you can type a post as if you are writing a letter in terms of grammar. If someone missunderstands what you type because its not very clear then you may get confilcting information/opinions)

Out of interest, why was the car laid up for a year?
