How do you fit a turbo timer - does it have to be done professionally or is it a diy job.

Also When you have a cat 1 alarm can you lock and set the alarm  before the timer stops without it going off or do you have to tweek the alarm.

i would like this info aswell

i had a Clifford concept 500 (cat 1) alarm fitted and the guys that did it said my turbo timer would make the alarm go off but since then i have heard from another dealer that they where talking out of there preverbial , so i want to refit my turbo timer but i dont know how , it doesnt look to hard with 2 plugs and 2 wires should be easy , just dont know where the 2 wires go

it is a diy job if you want to want around for the timer to finish timing before you set the alarm, or if you run a clifford300 or above, i think you can hook the timer to the alarm and it should arm after the timer stops, but you will have to pay someone to get this done. I personally just wait till the timer to finish, cheaper and most of the time you will only be waiting a minute or so.

Do you know where the 2 wires go

are they just power

FC3Sleo

and looking at it there are 4 wires that are not on a plug

FC3Sleo

is there 3 thicker ones and one thiner one

Glen.mclean

From the main unit there are 7 wires 4 thick ones going to a plug and 3 thiner going off to a small plug  and there is a black wire that comes out of the cable loom further away from the unit that is quite thin
