just thought i would update some pics as i\'m now a full member, i had to scrap the original alarm (after fitting it!) as it seemed a bit un reliable just what you dont need when you have no door locks!
so the new alarm has been fitted and i have a week off to try and get somewhere with it (is there somewhere you can buy time before the summer?)
Also got the wheels powder coated black by a friend, thought about it for a long time but i think they will look good, very happy with the finish.
The new mirrors arived from Oz so they can be used!! just waiting for them to be sprayed in yellow.

Great job on those wheels, always like black alloys on sportscars. May I ask where you found those bullet mirrors, been looking for some for a while now? Are they new or used?

mpk490p

There a long story, you can get them from the states from time to time there on ebay but there for a left hand drive so there not much good, i got mine from Oz but it has taken me nearly a year of searching ausrotary.com as most people just dont want to send stuff that far, i managed to get two pairs but dom has had the other ones

Left hand drive ones, some people can put up with that, its the arms that are different so you might have more luck buying the units from the us and trying for some arms from Oz

Cheers Mark, got a mate who lives out in Oz and flies to the UK every now and then so maybe I\'ll try and get some of those mirrors over here in their luggage. Haven\'t had much luck with importing stuff in the past. Reckon you\'ll add another few miles per hour to your top speed having got rid of those air brakes  :driving

took some pictures yesterday before the rain! was hoping to get the interior in today but thats no looking very good at the mo!

mpk490p

Managed to get some of the interior in after i had picked the best one and given it a clean and when the rain finished, it was nice to drive the car with a seat as the floors not to soft!
my tyres arrived for the rears, toyo\'s T1-R\'s so hoping to get them fitted and on the car soon.
has anyone used theses tyres\'s before? i hear there great for grip but can wear quickly, mind you at £57 a tyre it\'s not the end of the world http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html

Managed to get the dash in today and its very nearly finished just waiting for my mirrors and nose cone to come back from the sprayers (should be end of the week)
