Does anybody know whats stopping me from buying a single HKS FD turbo kit and fitting it to my FC what do i need to do to make it fit . I still dont know a great deal about rotary engines but theres not that much difference in the two engines or am i missing out   something vital

I believe that hks do a single turbo kit for the fc.

Its only a TO4E and with nasty cast manifold :(

Rich,

If you\'re serious about putting a large turbo on, then you should be able to get someone to make an exhaust manifold for you.

But - the cast manifolds are often better (unless you get a really well made/welded manifold).

And double but... don\'t forget - putting the turbo on is only the beginning, if you\'re engine is old then have it rebuilt before hand and if you are going to run big boost then it will need to be dowelled (anything 400hp+).  You will need the uprated Fuel system, decent ECU, larger intercooler, and the rest of your exhaust.

Tripple but - I don\'t want to put you off! so anymore questions - fire away.
Thanks,

Thanks for the info,

Ive got my hands on a fuel pump that can take 500bhp and i have a hks full turbo back exhaust system, evc boost controller, hks racing suction and a Hurley rebuilt engine about 30-40k ago.
Im begging my boss to give me a good price on a intercooler, diff and suspension :god Do you know of any good discs and pads as
mine have seen better days:rolleyes: to hit about 350bhp would be nice, can the standard cast manifold take that power on a hks T04E or will i have to buy the kit ?

Thanks again

That little to4e is pushing my car along at 12.6 1/4 mile. has seen off a diablo at Spa and various porkers, showed a 360 rarri its boost on the way to pod, being small its spools a little quicker, its more than just a big turbo that makes a car fast, Carl has built one of his great engines and Ant\'s mapping at Spa helped to make her fly. The cast manifold was originally chosen for it strength as lots of steel manifolds tend to crack, although I am having one made for another car.

Very nice i hope to run times like that :D what kind of power are you running? Ive gone as far as to strip out my car even the tar on the floor all ive got in it is 2 seats and a dash.A bit cold this time of year but does make all the difference.
