John, there is nothing stopping RX Heaven from replying with their side of the story (it will not affect any legal procedings)

Think you will find if you look at the posts I have made I have said exactly that, I for one would much prefure this thread removed untill the said court cases are resolved and both parties THEN putting their sides of the story, failing that, yes, RXH should issue some form of intent and the thread then closed.
My 2p\'s worth :cheers

Well it seems that although most of you understood where I am coming from a small percentage did not! I meant to provoke reaction; ideally to make you all stand back a little and see the big picture. For those who are still having difficulty I would like you to imagine what would have happened if Mazda had supplied the engine. Driven, as before with the same setup fuel and boost parameters it’s a fair bet that the engine would be destroyed. Would the finger then be pointed at Mazda?
I am not too interested in the porting issue; I do have suspicions but would like to see the invoice for the job first!

From my limited viewing of this post it is claimed that new parts were paid for and used ones supplied.

So the answer to your question is yes, if Mazda claimed the parts were new and they weren\'t I would throw it back at them - no proplem.

I don\'t know they guy having this issue but the crux seems to be he didn\'t get the NEW PARTS he paid for not how long they lasted.

Someone correct my assumption if I\'m wrong....................

I started with nothing and I have most of it left

There are a few views in this "discussion".one group of lawyers are happy to pay for the rope.............the other group of lawyers are happy to become conveyency(sp) lawyers......one group of people are digging a hole and and another are thinking of expanding their business...... one group of people are taking out bank loans cos they are going to pay school money in life experience.....another are putting down deposits on retirement policies....the point im trying to make ....if you defile me in public you may, but it comes at a premium price,if i was the the vendor id put my business cap on and disregard my mechanical day job...if i was a pay channel tv station id cut the series...

TecVet, just one thing on the pionts you are making, you are talking about stuff that has had no mention on this thread at all...... which make\'s me have my doubts that you are, as you put it a "true independant"....... This theard is about very thing your not to interested in....... so if your not interested how can a comment be made on the matter you would be missing the very point.

As for people understanding where you are coming from? what exactly are you trying to say because this is unclear....... That we are all boy racers because we have and intrest in modified cars??? That people can\'t listen to advice of others???

and yes if you bought a car from mazda with a fuel set up and boost preamiters (as ever turbo charged car on the road would have??? ) and it blew up yes the finger would be pointed at mazda. If a car is bought from any dealer and it blows the fingure is pointed at who ever sold it.

You need to be aware that we ar not just taking about a 1 off event here. I now know of 5 people, including myself and kieron, who have had problems with the same company.

just one other thing...... why is this the only thread you have posted on???

Life experience sometimes costs money, time and hurt......stand back, take a good look and bite your tongue for a moment.Take leave of absence for a moment, the refreshed mind thinks stronger and is more patient(sp)and forgiving...

Ok, just to clarify here as people seem to be getting confused as to the point(s) I\'m trying to make.

1)   My original post was to point out the inherent flaws in checking the quality of a rebuild after it has failed. (This matter was raised, the question of porting does not apply to this point)

2)   I’m led to believe that two of these engines were run outside of safe parameters, therefore regardless of the parts used or the quality of the rebuild failure was inevitable.

3)   If you have been charged for new parts then yes they should be present in the engine.  Used parts that are still within tolerance are quite acceptable for further use and I’m led to believe this is standard practise.

The reason I’ve chosen now to respond to a thread is quite simple, there seems to be a real belief in this online community that poor engineering is responsible for these failures when clearly the failures have been caused by the engines running outside of safe working boost and fuelling levels, These parameters being freely adjustable by the user in some circumstances.   When you are aware of a problem you keep off of the boost until it is rectified.
You know that continual use of the car outside of the maximum parameters will result in disaster.
