Here I am last week auditioning as Torville and Deans replacement ......... track like an ice rink and that was just the black stuff ....... my FD was suffering from terrible vibrations stopping me from going over 90 mph which Carl has now fixed, part wheel bearings part extraordinary noise and vibration from a split in the front lip of my front bumper ...... in a way this speed restriction probably saved me from armcoing it cos as I had difficulty in getting round the corners at moderate speed let alone going full on.

Great pics James,I\'ll join you next year for some trackdays now my engines rebuilt.I take it Silverstone is very slippy in the wet? it\'s quite local to me and a track I have\'nt driven so I\'ll be there next year.

I have done Brands Hatch and Silverstone before in full on rain and been amazed at how much grip I had ........ that made me think I could go faster than the conditions that day allowed ........ I think the two factors that made it more slippery were (a) it was cold and (b) it depends what has been happening last on the track.

I think I had my damping a little too stiff as well.

Here is one car that was out that day that didn\'t seem to mind the conditions ......... very very fast.

Nice James. I think our cars are well suited to the track. Done Silverstone and Castle Coombe, it was fantastic.

Looking good James :D Am hoping to go to some other tracks this coming year, getting a little bored, well not bored, well you know, of Donington now. But it is only 20mins from my house and they keep doing days for 95quid   :cool

Paul:)

Hey Paul,

You are so lucky being that close to Donnington and under a hundered quid is definitely cheap ................ I am desperate to try and put £400 aside to put a Feed mid pipe in as I am way to noisy to get on most Donnington days and the noisy days get booked immediately.

Bored of Donnington !!! You will find most other tracks fairly straightforward if you have mastered Donny.

Have fun Tracking.

I know I know, it is an amazing circuit and I definitely haven\'t mastered it and in no way am i bored of it. It\'s just that i\'d like to try some more twisty tighter circuits next year :cool however, that does mean I\'ll have to leave Nottingham/Derby area  ;)

Ta,
