my plugs are coverd in oil does this mean a seal as gone can anyone help

sure you just havent flooded the engine?

Edit : Is it definitely oil and not a carbon sooty build up?

If you have a blowtorch then burn them clean and retry, or, er.. i heard baking them in an oven works too. Either way, clean them off, and do a search on this forum for help starting a flooded engine.
