Thermostat removal / replacement

Hi folks,

As part of my ongoing coolant system upgrades i\'m going to replace the thermostat.  Does anyone know where I could get a walkthrough to allow me to do this.  The manual just doesn\'t help (due to the usual crap exploded diagrams).  Cant belive you have to remove the bleedin pump to get at the thermo!

Having a bit of a look into this one.  Do I have to remove the air pump (and therefore the air-con and drive belts) to access the thermo?  If so is it difficult or not too bad?

Any help would be much appreciated as I will be having a look in the next couple of nights (thermo arrived yesterday).
