to expensiv?

i know my english is bad  :D

Why not single? Twins create twice the hassle, harder to work on and also twive to go wrong.

3800 is not a bad price for a twin. he wants to retain the twin characteristics.

That kit won\'t work sequentially as the stock Mazda twins do.
It will work exactly as a single turbo does. Both turbos will work together.

I havent ever seen a twin setup with modded turbos such as this Border one.
Are all the aftermarket twins like this setup to run similar to a single turbo ?
£3800 seems expensive compared to the single setups.

becuse we got many guys her in sweden bilding single and i wont to do somthing diffrent  :)

Good luck then, but personally I think twins only create more hassle. there are enough potential pitfuls without creating more!

thats why people dont do it.    Gllary has a twin set up on his.

There isnt a kit that will work sequentially like the stock mazda set up,  its just too complicated.  You could have one single or two smaller ones,  you wouldnt be able to tell the difference in driving it.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

As Ant says this setup will not be anything like the standard sequential twins, it will be both turbo\'s comming on boost at the same time, and will be undestinguishable when driving from a single turbo, at best a bit less lag than an equivalent single

I also have a dual turbo setup on my 96 fd, I can definately agree that 2 turbo\'s = a factor of at least twice the hastle, I decided to build my own twin setup as nothing was available and I wanted to try something different than the usual single route, which seemed a great idea at the time, when it came down to it there is a huge learning curve when building twins from scratch, I have had several issues with getting the turbo\'s at the right angles but still offering a good level of gas flow, then you have two wastegates to mount etc etc.
Drivability is good with very little lag as there is not much mass to spool, I did have a dyno run at 405rwhp although soon after experienced the need for water injection..... The car is still running the dual turbo setup although I still have some "issues" with oil being drawn through the shaft seal when at idle, this is due to the angle of the rear turbo, which one day I will get round to relocating.

If I was looking at a turbo upgrade again and money was no option then I would go for this twin turbo setup, just to be different, it looks like a well made kit and will definately do the job.
If money was an option I would seriously look at the single route, especially as HKS and greddy kits are now more readily available.
