Really happy with that as i was really expecting the same as i had a couple of weeks ago as i havent done anything to the car. The only thing i can think of that may of made a difference was that i had a new power steering pump put on as the old one was knackered. This may of freed up a little bit more power :)

Can some one update the table now with all the new figures

Adam

You mean 280.4 RWHP matey!  Have you been on another long shift again?

Warthog

Chris is there anyway that this thread ( bhp table can be sorted out into twins and single turbo so people can see where they are. Or just sorted out into one new table it\'s just so out of date and people keep adding to it with no update. The reason I am asking you is that you did such a good job with the twins 1/4 mile table. :wave

Thanks Bob :cheers

Its enough for now!! Need to concentrate on cooling and suspension over the next few months, before I increase the power anymore! :evillaugh

I think the only thing i will do differently is to fit a silinced mid pipe, to keep the nieghbours happy! plus im getting on a bit!  i was hoping to see/ hear your car on sunday but think you said you can\'t make it till very late in the day, Are you going to lower it? I just had new pillow bushes (rear) fitted at Tim\'s, that made a difference!
Bob

Yeah have to work every Sunday :reallymad , it\'s very difficult to get days swapped etc.
Hoping to catch people later on, I know some are heading over to Dan\'s to strip his car of bits! If not Im sure we\'ll meet at shows next year!?

Suspension wise, starting with the basis- laser alignment as the car is suffering abit of bump steer. :(
Uprate antiroll bars, braces, etc. Will eventually fit coilovers, may lower alittle, but not much-  roads are to poor round here :reallymad .
A FEED full bush set would also be v.nice ;)  :yes  :yes  but too many penny\'s at the mo

Start with alignment by all means, but bump steer on a lowered car with skinny tyres is a feature, not a bug, and means your suspension is working properly! Bump steer will get WORSE as you add braces and so on. Suspension\'s supposed to follow the surface exactly to provide grip, but usually they engineer in a bit of slack for comfort, which what mops up the bump steer (along with the chassis warping.)

Understand that mate, thanks anyway! :)
At the moment the car is totally standard suspension wise and not hugely skinny tyres and suffers bump steer badly, skittisk(?, is that a word) on counrty roads, etc. So I know something isnt aligned quite right.

My last car had very low profile tyres (25\'s) and lowered to within a inch of its life (mostly done for looks, as it was SLOW).

So have a good idea what it should feel like, the RX in comparison is very unpredictable.

May also be a case that bushes are on there way out, after all the car is 13yrs old!

Hope to not get shot down in flames :flamed  :rollin
