I dont really intend on modding it, it\'s got enough for me :) .

How much it it likely to cost for a new clutch....although tonight it feels abit better....maybe i will get used to it. New cat1 alarm gets fitted tomorrow.

Also was gonna ask you guys where you Oil gauge mormally sits between idle and when moving.

im abit confused by the double din head unit that in it, it only goes up to 89.9fm then drops back to 70.something. Gonna put my Pioneer back in anyway.

need to get it booked it for a service, oil\'s looking black :(

My oil guage sits between 3 and 4 when idle .. never goes much past 4 when I thrash it.

*gulp* - the size of that induction kit man... hehe - ridiculous! - nice though... I want one *grin*

As for the head unit man - get a band converter if the unit is good!

A band converter is like $40 Aus.... esay to install... all it does is just like amplify the fm/am bands...

for example, oevr here we get them to boost the signal by 10 (hz?)... so 89.9 is really equal to 99.9 :)

Get what I mean?

As for a clutch, they vary in cost... you may be able to find a bargain good quality rebuilt one for less than $2000 AUS... (im talking twin plate here)... few hundred pounds will get u one... but then its got to be installed :)

Well alarms being fitted today, asked about them removeing the head unit so i can put my Pioneer 1 in and aparently it\'s a difficult job cos of pre amps and stuff  .

Also whats the right type and best oil i can use in it?

Not sure about how well the second turbo\'s doing either...never seems to pull high up in the rev\'s, least untill last night when i\'d charge up in second and get next to nothing but when i switched to third i actually got a kick in the but at high rpm which was nice :) ...yet worrying at the same time..

Sounds like it still has a Jap radio in it then mate.  Drop me a PM if you want any advice of fitting a stereo.  No stero is difficult to fit, as long as you have  some sort of facia to adapt the double din hole you\'ll be fine.  Its just a case of getting a few basic wires from the car such as Battery , Ignition, earth and perhaps illumination.

Do you have amps etc? The pre amps are just low outputs designed to be amplified by the amps, if you don\'t have amps you don\'t need them, and can just connect a set of speaks to it like any other stereo :)

If you\'re in Swindon I would either choose between RE:Worx in Portsmouth or Dragon Performace (Ross) in Exeter for your servicing.  Rotechniks are very expensive!

In Japan the frequencies for FM radio are different, so as Brian says, either get a band convertor which will change the frequencies coming into the radio so that you can pick up UK stations (although the display will always read wrongly), or as Dave said, pull it out and put in a UK head unit!
