are there 2 types of apexi commander, cos ive seen an old looking one with a green screen thats blck, and another onw which looks much better thats blue and silver with a bigger screen

No, no, no Matthew!

All the Power FC Commanders are black placky with a \'green\' LCD screen about 2.5" x 2" in size.

I imagine the blue and silver thing your thinking of is actually the Apexi AVC-R (Boost Controller).... looks much more bling than the Commander but does a totally different job I\'m afraid!

oh right, so if i get the apexi ecu i will have to use the black crappy looking thing with it?

You dont HAVE to use it - buts its quite handy! If you dont like the look of it you can either:

a) not buy one in the first place
b) shove it in the glove box when you arent looking at it or
c) paint it a pretty colour and stick neons to it

option c sounds good lol, i rellay like the look of the other ones though, the silver and blur, might have to get the boost control one. can i have this linked up aswell as the commander

You can have the AVC-R as well as the PFC and Commander if u so wish - but as you already have a Greddy boost controller it would seem a bit of a waste of cash (AVC-R will do same job as Greddy B/C you have - may be a few more bells and whistles) - although I\'ll have the Greddy job off your hands for a few ££\'s if you really HAVE to have the Apexi blue and silver BLING BLING!
