Nath

i take it you have no bonnet pins  :rollin

dont you feerl a bit unsafe without them

Dan Norton

Nah its fine, the latch on this bonnet is just like the original, and it shuts well.

Ive had it at three figure speeds and it solid as a rock.

If i\'d known i would have been tweaking it for 8hrs to try and get even gaps all round and so it would still go over the bonnet clips, i would have brought it for you! :)

What sort of problems did you encounter?

MattR: Yeah came this morning all ok , ive left it in the box as its wrapped well , when i get the car back i shall have a look at fitting it.

The main problem i had was that the bonnet differed from the original that the original had studs that fitted to a bracket. The carbon bonnet had threads that recieved a stud, through the bracket (hope it makes sense to somenone as i\'m lost) unfortuntely one of the threads was cream crackered!!

Managed to get another bolt that "fitted" and then all i had to do was get the spaces even on either side of the bonnet whilst the pins still matched....

8 hours later.....

"close enough, that\'ll do"...

Easy really!! :)
