As some of you here know how loud my car is since rebuilt and bit of porting.  I had 3" straight through R-Majic system on with no restriction what so ever and it is louuuud.  The neighbours were begining to get more and more p****d off with me.

I order this bung thing from Newera, although the delivery took a bit long but well happy with the result.   On idle the car is just quiet as it should be but soon as i put me foot down the bung opens up and after 4k its flowing back to as it was before.   The car feels much smoother and there seems to be no lose of power.

I now have to wait for Jay dee to be back from holidays and get the mapping sorted.   :burnout

how much was it and were did u get it from also does it restrict the flow
You only get one life live it

Got it from Miguel at Newera website above.   There is a back pressure on idle but as the rev increases, there is a spring in it that opens up accordingly but most importantly, driving round town here in London is much better.  You can hardly go above 3k round town.   I don\'t get mad looks from other drivers and neighbours are happy too.

I can remove the bung if i want and when i want espacially if im going to any meets or over the weekend but  its better with it.

I have had one of these for a couple of months now stuffed in my Apexi N1, and I agree that it is a great invention, quiet around town but no noticeable power loss when booting it!

rx7veilside - it stays in the tailpipe with a nut and bolt, with locking washers, and a locking pin as well, they must have been worried about it firing out at high revs I guess ;)

Paul-Tll - I believe it comes in two sizes, wait til I find the box...ah, here we go:

"For use on tailpipe 115mm/90mm" e.g. Apexi PS Revolution, Hayabusa, some N1 Evolution.
Your tailpipe tip must have an Internal Diameter of either 110mm or 87mm for the silencer to fit, and there must be either 70mm+ or 80mm+ of straight depth as well.

Hmm, I just read that again, I will try to make it a bit clearer :)

Size 1: Tip ID=110mm, Tip depth=70mm or more.
Size 2: Tip ID=87mm, Tip depth= 80mm or more.
The tip has to be a straight cylindrical pipe, not flanged or conical or anything. Also, you may have to drill a hole for the locking bolt in your exhaust tip if there isn\'t already one there.
But if it fits, get one, you won\'t regret it :)

If you want to be different, as well as not spoiling the look of your tailpipe there is this:
"The A\'PEXi ECV (Exhaust Control Valve) allows you to control the loudness of your exhaust sound. The ECV is installed right after the catalytic converter, and adjustment of the valve is done through a cable run from the cockpit to the valve body. All you have to do is slide the lever installed in the car to get the appropriate sound. With the A\'PEXi ECV you\'ll no longer need to get out of the car to fit a detachable silencer into the tail pipe."

Available from //www.nengun.com priced from £82 depending on pipe diameter inc delivery from Australia.

Will this silencer fit in a 5 inch pipe if i fit it further down (if it gets narrower) or is it designed to be right at the end.

heard this the other day on Laeeq\'s car and it is amazing!!!!
