Hello,

I have bought some bodykit parts from somebody, and he has asked me if anyone with an FC, FD or RX8 would be interested in a group buy on some GForce coilovers.
The price would be £595.
Features are:
Full length adjustable shocks, meaning you can set the ride height without making the ride crap at the same time.
Spring pre load adjustment
Full height adjustability - they go LOW,
Upper mounts included
32 way adjustable damping

That is all the info I have at the moment as I have only just received the e-mail having been on holiday.

Just thought I would let you all know, in case anyone was interested.

Sounds intresting, would like to see some more info. Anyone heard of them before?

New suspension is getting high on the shopping list!
The FC is dead, long live the FD

I will ask for some more info and post it, as soon as I get the reply.

Just received a reply, saying:

"They won\'t have heard about G-Force as basically it\'s exclusive to us.  We
have certain contacts with factories that produce parts for various
different manufacturers and these coilovers come from one such factory.
Right now they already make kits for a well known brand that\'s been
available officially in the UK now for about 18 months."

I have bought quite a few things from them in the past for various jap cars and have always found them to be very good to deal with, he also said to get the units at that price we only need an order of 5 minimum.
Anything more you need to know, ask and I will pass it on.

LOL, I was feeling a little lonely myself.
I have only seen two RX7`s in Carlisle, and only had the chance to speak to one of the owners. I think he said he had just collected his car from the local mazda dealer after a mjor rebuild :(

We will have to meet up some time, I am often over the border going to Dumfries.

Ian,

What would the normal price be, ie how much would we be saving by buying as a group buy?

What sort of warranty and back-up is there? any testing been done on them (thinking long term), racing, etc?

forgive me for loading you with questions, but im very keen on some new shocks and want to get the right good for the job- day to day driving and the odd track day.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Any feedback from people who have these already fitted ? does\'nt have to be on an RX7, would be nice to know how they ride.
I have a set of NPG Bridgestone Spec ST adjustable coilovers on mine and the ride is bloody hard, in fact to hard to be honest, so i might think of changing them.

I live just over the border from Carlisle up the A7 if you see me about either in Carlisle or Dumfries give me a flash.

Phew, go out to do some shopping and a mountain of e-mails etc arrive.

tr1cky and NixRX7:
Hello, no problem with the questions. .
They come with a  full warranty, and the lad who got in touch with me owns the importer/store that you will be purchasing from, and he only sells equipment he will use on his own vehicles.

I know there are some lads on SXOC using them. S13 and S14/a.

Not sure on how much you will be saving, I will ask for you and post back as soon as he replies.

Very nice rex NixRX7. I must admit I have never seen your car around, though if I do I will certainly give a flash. Have`nt a new pic of my car but it is a Montego Blue with C/Fibre vented bonnet, large new wheels and currently waiting to get a Knightsports spoiler fitted. (If you know anyone who is good at spray painting that would help cheers, no-one seems to want to do body mods!!). If not in the Rex I will be in a Dark Blue Jeep or on a Red Motorcycle

Right, hopefully this info will help your decisions along nicely.

"The retail on these hasn\'t been decided yet but consider the equivalent Tein
is Type Flex cos it\'s the cheapest Tein kit with proper solid upper mounts
for front and rear, at £1057.50 inc vat.  The kits are used in racing out in
Asia and they will come with 1 year warranty.  We are being supplied all the
overhaul parts needed and in the event of a problem under warranty we will
replace the damper, not fix it!  We will also carry a number of spare
springs so people can get new ones if they find the ride is too hard / soft
for their needs.  You can choose a spring rate when ordering the kit, from
4kg to 22kg."

Hope that helps, if you need anymore help, just ask and I will try my best.

Nobody with an FC or RX8 Interested ???
