This sounds really stupid i know but i couldn\'t actually find a reference to it when I looked, how many spark plugs do I have on my engine? is it just one trailing and one leading per rotor? im sure i heard about there being another one somewhere else?

Yes i know its a stupid question but bear with me!!

:):):)

fro

you need 2 leading plugs and 2 trailing. If you are standard or have light mods you can use 9\'s for leading and trailing.

dandan

Ta, i was going to use 7 or 8 leading and 9 trailing, im running 275 at the wheels. does this sound about right or shall i get all 9\'s?

fro

if it were me I\'d say 9 all round :)

edit: how much boost are you running?

Steve Burnett

If you use the car for shorter runs often, or move your car in and out the drive a lot (i.e. stopping and starting) you will run a higher chance of flooding the engine. Using 7\'s and 9\'s will be slightly better. I currently have 7\'s and 9\'s but for a 6months before was running 9\'s all round.
The spec of your car will have a major factor, stock or modded?

dandan

ok its big intercooler, 3inch straight through pipe, filter, light flywheel, apexi pfc, rebuild <2000kms ago .8 primary and .7 secondary boost. running 275rwhp. I do have to sometimes make short runs, but i do like to drive hard but only on public roads so far
7\'s and 9\'s?

dandan

can anyone tell me is my engine a 13b or 13b rew?

John Yorke

FD\'s are 13brew  if you use this as a daily drive go with 7\'s & 9\'s
