what paint to use??

OK,
ive got a knightsports fibreglass front end for the FD,

ive sanded and filled it.
it still has an outer coat of paint on it(apart from sanded bits).

do i ......

1. put some sort of primer on it, then paint it?
2. just paint it?
3. completely strip it and do both?

if any of the above, what paints/laquers?

Personally I\'d go with option 3, then you know your starting with a good base.
