Check out my new website.... //www.aotearotor.co.uk  :spank

I thought I\'d kinda carry on where I left off with my aotearotor.co.nz site. Any suggestions or improvements let me know. It would be nice to get some of the old school rides we have here featured in the future. :god

Nice site there. So i guess the mazda must go some of the way to helping you feel a bit more at home these days? I tried to use you also by telling my girlfriend that I knew of someone that had bought a mazda as a way of putting up with awesome uk weather but she didnt go for it. So I am still left with a car half made from wood.

MikeLMR

nice website ... the rx3 looks nice too. Have you being using it much ?

mullins

No Mike it\'s still in Wales at the mo. It\'s being sent to RX Motors for a tune up, etc before I collect it.

Blimey! a picture of a MK1 Colt Sapporo at The Pod (with Gulf Oil stickers on), not everyday you see one of them. Not so sure the black wheels suit it though. Also a Black Lancer Turbo behind the Starions. One of my favourite cars back then was the MK2 Sapporo Turbo in Black... mmmm  :god

g11ary that \'7\' has a "Mandeville" sunstrip on it relating to Roger Mandeville, a prolific Mazda racer in the States.

He started out in 1975 using an RX2 in IMSA circuit racing. Got his first win with the "2" in 1978, and then moved on to the RX3 in 1979, where he became the IMSA RS Drivers champion, and won the makers category for Mazda.

In 1982 he shared the driving of an RX7 in IMSA GTU racing (24 hour stuff I think), and won the driver and makers championship in 1983.

1984 he won the IMSA GTO championship for drivers.

AFAIK his last year of racing was sharing an RX7 in IMSA GTU racing.

His cars were always well known because of their bright yellow colour like in the Pic.

I think this is a "customer" car rather than his personal car as he always raced with number 38.

Cant help with spec or bodykit I\'m affraid.

Rich ;)
