Flush-plated \'99-spec?

Okay, has anyone on here removed the number plate bulge on the front of their \'99-spec front bumper?

It sticks out from the centre of the bumper, to mount a square plate to, and i\'m not a fan. I have a 99-spec front end coming soon, and i\'m thinking i may get it blended out before it gets sprayed and fitted.

I\'ve photoshopped it, but i\'d like a proper pic if anyone\'s had it done.
