What\'s the reputation of this place like?

They always seem to have a few very reasonably priced 3rd gens in but I\'ve heard a few bad things about them.

Just browsing for the next month till I sell my car then I can start properly looking as I\'ll know how much cash I have :)

Rebuild isn\'t a problem as I\'m quite happy to do this myself....with a little help from friends ;)

reputation, this place doesnt have 1. they are the most god awful company to buy a car from and I have no idea how they are still trading... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE....  they sell cars that are not even road worthy... it\'ll be a bad mistake to even veiw a car from them IMO let alone buy 1

ok cheers for the info :)

in all honesty i think i\'ll be seeing what newera or bonsai can do as I\'m quite happy to wait a few months...after all there\'s no car shows in winter are there ;)

Hi

I had a look at a few RX-7s from there when I was searching for a new car, overpriced, poor quality rubbish IMO

Cheers

I got m ine from auto trader...

bargain buy.. the seller imported it himself and didnt even know really know the price of it...

had no problems with it what so ever... apart from the usual split pipes and things...

but that happens on a 12 year old car!!!

good luck with the search...

cheers for the info!

i\'ve been looking on autotrader too. seem to be a few about but mostly red ones...i have to have a black car :) still there\'s quite a few on bonsai\'s site that are black. as soon as I get it i\'ll try and make sure all reliability stuff is done.

the probe will be up for sale starting at trax so hopefully i\'ll get a decent price :) then i can go find a black fd :D

....really can\'t wait now!

I was going to come down. Me car is in the bodyshop for longer than I thought and don\'t have access to another :( Bit of a bugger really!

I\'ve now completely discounted KTC :)

gsb876

Heard nothing but bad stuff about KTC stay well away, they do inhouse MOT\'s and from what i gather some of their cars are not road worthy  :flamed

Keep looking, but elsewhere matey, this is what these forums are for use us  :cool

That does look very nice but a little out of my budget....but i won\'t have a budget till i sell my car anyways ;)

Newera

We only concentrate on genuine low mileage top condition RX-7\'s. Higher mileage ones aren\'t as good value for money in the long term, I believe.

Remember, even if an engine\'s rebuilt, the engine\'s ancilliaries, suspension, drive train, brakes, interior, etc. are still going to be worn if a car\'s higher mileage.

We have 2 low mileage (One 30,000, one 40,000 miles) RX-7\'s coming into stock shortly. There\'s also a customer\'s mint under 25,000 genuine mile RX-7 for sale on the stock page at the moment.

Cheers!

I\'ll probably be in touch once I\'ve sold my car and know for sure how much I have to play with :) I think maybe I should get some more contract work together to get a better car!

Hi!

The best way is to buy direct from Japan, that is if you are prepared to wait.

Many a times we have seen cars being advertised by importers, with all the good bits removed from the cars (i.e Bucket seats, brakes, alloys, stereo\'s) once the cars have been bought at auction.

Buying direct gives you access to live auctions in Japan. A service which we provide. Along with a detailed spec of every aftermarket part to be seen and thorough condition on each car.

We have just sourced a 7000km\'s from new RX7 from Japan, along with a 28000 mile and 39000 miles RX-7\'s arriving soon. Miguel is right about cars carrying high miles. It is costly enough to rebuild the engine. However, along with that. If you were to add costs of other parts such as bushes, suspensions, turbo\'s etc. It would turn in to a drastic figure!
