Just perving at miguels stock & i see one his beasties has "an exhaust restrictor valve" which i had seen before when i was investigating how to keep noise down & neighbours happy with me scooby.
Anyway PC since died so dont have an web addresses in me fav list of places which sell these kinda bits.
So does anyone know where you can get these, any ideas with how easy they are to fit for whatever exhaust & if just using for a few hundred yards till clear of whinging neighbours presumably there would be no implications with needing a remap everytime u adjust it ;) lol

Check under the Performance Parts - Apex for the ECV.

that\'s the bad boy, cheers peaps :D
So anyone using this on a FD? I note there\'s no mention of the ole RX7, no surprise, & i guess it will/would depend on yer exhaust system. Any thoughts on what you\'d need to order &/or need to do to fit? I presume it wouldn\'t fill the entire exhaust anyway so if internal dimensions of zaust are 85mm & u have to get 80mm un & just loose 5mm of flow at that point (if that makes sense  )
It mentions it going after the cat as well but presumably if u have a nice decat system u can just bolt it inbetween say the downpipe & centre section or between centre & backbox?
Si (paranoid but likin the sound of it as a cunning plan ;))

Si, you could order it direct from Taka, as I know plenty of people who have bought from them in the past without any problems.
