Quote from: interloper393mines got 235-45-17 at the front n 255-40-17 at the back, dosnt seem to take much before she looses the back end, but its controled.. lol one quick turn and shes straight again, think maybe its the hks suspension, maybe 2 hard..

My front is really bad, the rubber bushings needs to be changed to something better/harder. Everything moves around. On the RX4 -74 everything in the front is really weak. I don’t really know how to fix it, coz I don\'t want to cut or change too much stuff. It needs to be stiffer. When I kick on the front tyres, everything is shaking and moving. Maybe something will crack instead if i try to stiff it up?

And the problem is that I want to keep it as light as possible too. Hmm
Do you have any pics how your big wheels looks like? At the rear I have 280 width on 13x10" wheels, and i hate it!  :)

Well, I think all the braking and handling problems are being caused by having that heavy V8 engine .

On a small car like this, surely a Rotary is going to be easier on the brakes and suspension.  But I am not sure what a 20B of a 4 Rotor weight is?

My answer to your question on how much power you can make with a Rotary is this: "you can get as much power and reliability you want as long as you pay for it". (or - anything is possible if you spend enough money)

I suggest you contact Hayward Rotary, there is an advert for them at the top of this website. Carl has built a 4 Rotor engine, and I am sure he could build you whatever Rotary engine you want. He is in the UK, closer for you!

Hi dude

The Buick V8 is not super heavy  approx 160kg and the LS1 is not so far away. I made a carbonfibre hood and lot\'s of saved weight because of this one. The weight is around 1,4kg. and the original hood was seriously heavy compared to this one.

The RX4 handling in it\'s original shape is really bad anyway. they did some changes to the RX chassi from 1976 everything in the front is stronger. I plan to order a full brake conversion from the hoppersstopper in AU. looks interesting and cheap too. What i understant the 3 rotor engine is kind of heavy even if it is very compact.

Thanx for the link tip, i\'m going to check it out later, now it seem the page is down.
