air pump squeelewill it kill my car ??? help :)

seems to squeele    sounds a bit like a fan belt  when they slip   does it every time    it gets to 3000 rpm  could it just be   somthing sticking  that is easy to fix  or would i need a new  1. it all seemd to come when i fitted a boost controler   whitch  i dont think is in right.i would like to take  it out along with the air con  whitch i have seen posts for .would just like to know if  this squeele  is going to do some long turm dammage to my car  93 fd3
