One of the worlds longest projects  :yes

Incredible amount of work involved when doing it properly.  Apart from: complete custom arms, ultra expensive dampers, carbon brakes - this is probably the ultimate suspension and brake package for an FD.  A number of custom tools had to be made in order to press bearings, joints etc. ...

I have the wheels, just need to purchase tyres to suit - car will be on wheels again!

Next steps are mounting the dummy engine, gearbox, diff, doing the rollcage, mounting seats, peddle box, completing the steering.  Hopefully these will all be done in the next few months.

Might be ready in time for ROTORSTOCK IV!

Some more piccys through:

Control Arms - polished before they were annodised:

All on the car:

Inspiring, that\'s all I can say.

If I had the time, ability, space and money to do that to my seven I\'d be a lucky man...  Lottery ticket anyone?

front ones are 9" free length 2.25" ID and 900Lb/" (its printed on springs ;) )

i.e a little OTT for a road car :burnout

20B_boy

Max runs near-900lb springs on his FD, hard on the street but nothing like unbearable. Phil has near-1000lb N1s on his car. But thats just Phil :D  :burnout  :burnout  :burnout

bet they would handle better on the road with something a lot softer ... but then thats probably not the intended use ;)

So ok, Carls is almost ready for action and Glenns is only a year off (or close to it).

Here\'s the question, which will be faster? One built with UK knowledge or the power of the Aussie?
